Chinese Astrology
Chinese Astrology also known as Junishi, is a 2000 year old philosophy employed by Emperors imperial court advisers to comprehend and interpret their future. The idea is based around 12 animal signs. Each symbolic sign has one of the five natural elements-earth, metal, fire, wood and water.
Today Chinese astrology is used to examine personality characteristics and finding the best matches for family, friends and relationships. Your year of birth indicates an aspect of a sixty-year phase. Three systems are employed to classify and count the years. The ten Heavenly Stems, the twelve Earthy Branches and the twelve Animals. The exact origin of the twelve Animals is unknown, although it is thought that Jade King, bored in heaven, desired to see a sample of twelve animals on earth. |
